There's a pretty poor article out on transgender people by the New York Times today, but there was some good news in it: WPATH SOC 8 is dropping the requirement that trans youth must show "years of identifying as transgender" in order to obtain puberty blockers/HRT. Terms that may be unfamiliar or that have specific meanings in the SOC are defined below for the purpose of this document only.
